Transportation & Parking

Shuttle Busses

Two return shuttles have been arranged for pilgrims at the conclusion of the pilgrimage, as there were for the previous years' pilgrimages.

As an alternative, the Farragut North Metro Station is a short walk (less than a quarter mile) from St. Matthew. From there, the Orange and Silver Lines run to the Virginia Square–GMU Metro Station near St. Thomas More (slightly over a mile walk).

Shuttles will pick up pilgrims from St. Matthew Cathedral in DC and return them to St. Thomas More Cathedral in Arlington.

Parking in Arlington

Parking at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More is plentiful. Those who arrive on the Arlington side can park in the cathedral lot.

Parking in Washington

There is no parking lot at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle. For those arriving directly here, parking options are limited to paid street spots and paid garages next to and across the street from the cathedral.
